The name Copani comes from copain, which is French for friend and is rooted in the Latin com + panis, "with bread." The word traveled from Latin into French, Spanish, Italian, and English carrying the same idea that the deepest friendships are built around a shared table. We believe food brings people together in a way nothing else quite does. Food has a unique power to connect: between people, between travelers and the places they visit, between eaters and the land that feeds them.
Copani exists to strengthen those relationships. Whether you're a farmer building a destination or a traveler looking for one, we're here to help you find the table worth sitting at.
